If galaxy note 2 is just a update, the announces windows8 phone is the main focus of this show.
And just a quick glance at its specs sheet is enough for us to conclude that we are dealing with a top-tier device. The new Microsoft-sanctioned smartphone offers a 4.8-inch screen with an HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm CPU, 8MP rear camera and 1.9MP front-facing cam. Additionally, it's got a beefy 2,300mAh battery, 1GB RAM, Gorilla Glass 2 and will come in both 16 and 32GB flavors. At 8.7mm, it's also reasonably thin.
ATIV S
1.    1.5 GHZ dual-core Qualcomm CPU
CPU is the heart of every smartphone, and the one that beats inside the Samsung Ativ S is a powerful one indeed. Like all Windows Phone 8 devices expected to be announced in the near future, the Ativ S is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and backed up by 1GB of RAM. Older Windows Phone devices could not handle dual-core, which is why seeing such potent piece of silicon inside the first WP8 handset is such a big deal.
2.    4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display
In addition to being the first Windows Phone handset to equip a dual-core processor, the Samsung Ativ S is also the first to be equipped with an HD display. In this case, the screen uses Samsung's tried and tested Super AMOLED technology. Spread all those dots across 4.8 inches of display real estate and you get a really high pixel density – exceeding the 300ppi mark, for sharp visuals and smooth curves.
3.    8 Megapixel camera
The Samsung Ativ S is equipped with an 8-megapixel auto-focus camera, and an LED flash has been added for those times when light just isn't enough. We can only guess what photos taken with it will look like, yet a high-end device like this should be capable of delivering photos well above what the average handset can produce.
4.    Windows8 OS
Windows Phone 8 takes care of many limitations that plagued its predecessor and adds plenty of more-than-welcome improvements, both on the outside and on the inside of the platform. For starters, there's the redesigned home screen that can host live tiles of more sizes and of different colors, not to mention that there is more information that they can contain. Also, the mobile platform shares the same core with its desktop counterpart, which should help developers port their PC software to WP8. Let us not forget that Internet Explorer 10 comes included with improved JavaScript and HTML5 handling.
5.    WP8-friendly MicroSD slot
This might not seem very important to us, but for a fraction of users, having a microSD card slot is an essential smartphone feature. Well, the Samsung Ativ S supports micro SD cards, meaning that by getting a 64GB card, the smartphone's total storage can be expanded to the whopping 80 or 96 GB, depending on whether you have the 16 or 32GB model.

Movie Review: Hit & Run

Hit & run did do well at the box office, August a means all kids go back to school and nobody goes to the movies anymore because they spent too much on The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises. Anyway, I’m pretty sure the Hit and Run is worthwhile talking , I’m just going to talk what I really wanted to say.
hit & ran
For the first 30 minutes or so, nothing was really catching my eye and getting me involved as much as I would have liked. They start off with an ultra-sappy and contrived emotional scene where Shepard is telling his gal-pal to “close her eyes and think about the moment, nothing else”. Then after that, they suddenly go right into a scene with Tom Arnold chasing after his minivan and blowing holes everywhere, while screaming “fuck” at the top of his lungs. And to top that off, it just wasn’t funny no matter how hard they were trying and trust me, they were trying. It seemed like this was going to be one of those flicks that just wanted to be so wacky and funny, but also have an emotional story in the middle to even it all out but it wasn’t working and really got me worried of what I got myself into. Thankfully, it was only for those 30 minutes where I nearly lost my mind.

After the first 30 minutes or so, the film all of a sudden kicks its story into high gear and becomes a fun ride that delivers on the cool look, the cool thrills, and the funny laughs that sometimes came out of nowhere. It’s obvious that Dax Shepard (who just so happened to also co-write and direct this, and do his own stunts) loved Smokey and the Bandit as a kid growing up, because that’s the same exact kind of style and feel he gives this movie that automatically makes it a wild ride that doesn’t have to try too hard to charm us. So, if there is any credit going to towards this film and making it fun, it’s Shepard who deserves the most because he was able to somehow get this filmed in only 10 weeks, and used a very low-budget that will probably make a lot of the other big-budget action picks a whole lot more jealous by how polished the action scenes look here.
hit & ran fight
As you could probably tell by now, this film was pretty exciting when the action scenes came up and even if there is only about 3 in whole movie, you still get a great feel of energy and adrenaline every time they pop-up. But what really works with this film is that it hits its funny-marks very consistently in the last hour, which surprised me because they seem to be going all-over-the-place with its comedy. Sometimes it was trying to go for the wacky, rom-com aspect, others it was going for edgy and raunchy (that one scene with the naked old people will really shock some people), and other times it was your typical, conversational humor that can either make, or break a film depending on how well they use that aspect of comedy. Well, to say the least, the film’s comedy works and you’ll find a couple of gags that continue to show up every now and then that really catch you by surprise.
What really makes this film work out in the end is the cast that Shepard was able to assemble, obviously by just calling up a couple of pals for a little favor, which all work to his advantage. As for Sheperd in the lead role, he’s actually very charming and has the everyday likability to him that makes us forget about any dumb-ass role he has chosen in the past decade or so. The guy has a great comedic timing and can be sweet and enduring when he wants to be. If this guy can get his ass in the right rom-com and role, he may be destined for leading man material, which he sort of is here, but I mean on his own when he isn’t the co-writer/director. Tom Arnold plays his federal marshal buddy that just never seems to be able to do anything, without effin’ it up one way or another and the scenes where it’s just him being a goof-ball, sometimes left me in stitches. It’s been awhile since I last saw Tom Arnold in a big-budget, Hollywood movie like this (if you want to call it that) and it’s great to see that he can still deliver on being wacky and funny.
hit & ran Car
Perhaps the easiest favor that Shepard had to call up from anyone in this entire cast was in fact, his girlfriend in this movie and in real-life, Kristen Bell. I bet you are all pretty surprised to see that this gorgeous woman has been going out with this weirdo for the past 5 years, and you honestly have to be thinking to yourself, “Why?”. Well, after seeing this movie I have to say, “Ohhh, now I see why!”. It’s pretty obvious that these two have a genuine chemistry and love in real-life, because it spills out so well in this film whenever they are together just being themselves, or discussing what it takes to be in a relationship with another person which may seem really strange since it’s in a movie like this, but still works because these two have an emotional honesty between that feels real, as if you’re almost watching a real-life couple right in front of your eyes. In a way, you are, but this film offers them a lot more challenges in their respective acting departments that anybody has ever seen from either of them. As for Bell herself, she’s lovely as usual and it makes it better that she seems to be having a whole lot of fun playing chase with her boyfriend and pals.
The one that really shine in this whole cast is probably Bradley Cooper who seems to playing an against-type role as the murderous thug, with really bad dreadlocks that makes him look more like the wrestler Raven from his WWF days, than actually intimidating. We’ve all seen Cooper do the villainous act before, but never quite like this to where the guy seems to really be having a ball just being mean, brutal, and a little weird as well. Cooper always has some great comedic timing with everything he does but I think his best showing of that is his one scene where he admits to why he’s come after Shepard after all of this time.

Movie Review: The Expendables 2

The Expendables 2 has again brought together a crowd of muscle man to us in this summer, and we couldn’t deny that The Expendables 2 got a huge improvement over its predecessor in 2010. All of bloody actions, hot gun battles, endless supply of kinds of weapon and a lot of funny joke, all of those make Expendables knocked out the competition at the box office the weekend.
How to Enjoy Expendables on your ipad3
The expendables 2
The Expendables 2 is a reason to believe in second chances. The film opens with a rescue mission in which the team (Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, and Liam Harmsworth) assault what could pass for a Battlefield  map packed with armed bad guys. They plow through the defenses in vehicles that should be sold in G.I. Joe toy sets, firing guns that sound like cannons and do about as much damage. The action is kinetic, exciting, and absolutely hilarious.
Whatever notions the first film had of telling a serious story are mostly gone here, and that's great because it didn't work at all. The original was bogged down in exposition and tough guy sentimentality. That, combined with some flat action led to a film that was often dry and boring. Many lessons were learned between the first and second film, resulting in something that takes itself much less seriously. The Expendables 2 is dumb, action-packed fun assembled in a way that's incredibly smart and self-aware.
The expendables fight
I can't think of a comedy in 2012 that provided as many laughs as The Expendables 2 does. Whether its from some overly dramatic delivery from Stallone, silly quips from Lundgren or Crews, or Van Damme chewing scenery as the film's villain, there's just a ton of goofy stuff to chuckle at here. When Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Bruce Willis are added to the equation, the action movie one-liners flow like wine. There are references to the old action films, so-bad-they're-good puns like "I now pronounce you man and knife," and some genuinely clever jokes to boot.
The action is fast and loud. The aforementioned bullet cannons don't just put holes in the bad guys, they turn them into blood and flesh confetti through over-the-top CG effects. Yes, it's cheesy and not necessarily in the spirit of 80s action films, but the CG massacres are so over-the-top that it's an even trade-off. There were too many audible "Ooohs" and bursts of laughter from the audience to complain.
While The Expendables 2 brings an amazing cast of retiree action heroes to the table, one of my only complaints is the film's choice for the heroine . Bringing a lady into the fold is a great idea, but Nan Yu simply doesn't hold her own against the rest of the cast. Actions veterans and UFC-fighters-turned-actors get a pass when they deliver their lines poorly, but a relative unknown like Yu isn't going to get the same treatment (newbie Liam Hemsworth, conversely, is probably the best actor in the film, so he gets a pass).
Nan Yu The expendables 2
As to the sequel of the Expendables in 2010, Expendabls 2 is a film we should go for in the box office in the summer. Think about other films released in this summer…. The one is surely  worth seeing.

Galaxy Note 10.1 could Challenge ipad?

Galaxy Note 10.1, the new tablet made by Samsung had announced this week, is attempt to chip away at the market dominance of ipad. Apple sold 28.8 million iPads in the first six months of this year to hold 64.4 percent of tablet market in the world, and Samsung sold only 4.4million to take less than 10percent market share. The new released Galaxy note 10.1 had be inspired high hopes to challenge Apple’s iPad.

Galaxy Note 10.1 Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1:
Price: $499 for 16GB and $549 for 32GB
Hardware:
10.1inch screen with 1280 by 800   pixels resolution
quad-core processor with 1.4 GHz clock   speeds 2GB Ram
1.3 pounds weight
5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.9 megapixel front facing camera
 9 hours battery life
Operating System: Android 4.0

The new iPad:
iPad sizePrice: $499 for 16GB and $599 for 32GB, $699 for 64 GB
Hardware:
9.7inch screen with 2048 by 1536 pixel
1.44 pounds weight
5-megapixel camera on back and a low-resolution camera on front
10 hours battery life
Operating System: iOS

Besides being slightly larger than the 9.7-inch iPad, the 10.1-inch Samsung model has other differentiating factors including a stylus-based note taking and sketching function and screen split feature that allows users simultaneously to use two different apps side-by-side. And this would be the most attractive new feature of the one.
Starting at $499, Samsung's base Note 10.1 model seems a reasonable enough buy when you factor in the addition of the S-Pen, PS Touch, Exynos 4 processor and 16GB of storage. However, until you take a glance at other Android tablets like ASUS' Transformer Infinity Pad TF700, which boasts a crisper 1,920 x 1,200 display, double the storage (32GB) and a quad-core Tegra 3 CPU. The Galaxy Note 10.1 was just so-so. And compare with ipad, Apple's iOS ecosystem is where most consumers will instinctively want to it. Moreover, 2,048 x 1,536 Retina display with the same price $499, that would be easy to make the choice for us.

galaxy note 10.1 VS iPad
The new one may not the best one , if you have plan to get a tablet, ipad3 still at the top of this area and the new Galaxy note 10.1 seems hard to change the situation . what’s more, next generation iPad is on the way now.
